Details of Assam Public Service Commission (APSC)recruitment 2021:

Name of post: Research Assistant in Planning Services (under Transformation & Development Department.)

Total number of vacancies: 45 (forty five) Nos.

Category wise vacancy: 

• Open category- 18, 
• OBC/MOBC- 08, 
• SC- 06,
• STP- 06,
• STH- 02, 
• EWS- 05
• PWED- 02

Education Qualification: 

Bachelor Degree in Arts, Science or Commerce from any recognized University with either Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Agricultural Economics, Sociology, Anthropology, Social Anthropology, Social Work, Business Administration, Business Management, Geography or Commerce as one of the subjects. Preference shall be given to Honours Graduates.

Pay scale:  Rs. 22,000/- to 97,000/-  plus Grade pay Rs. 9400/- 

Other Eligibility Criteria of Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) recruitment 2021:

• The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2021. 

The upper age limit is relaxable : 

• By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. upto 43 years. 
• By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. upto 41 years as per Govt. Notification No. ABP. 6/2016/9 dated Dispur the 25th April 2018. 
• For Persons with benchmark disability (PWBD) by 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category of candidate as per Govt. Memorandum No. ABP 180/2017/105 dated Dispur the 7th January, 2019. 
• The upper age limit in respect of candidates who have been serving in a lower post or cadres in the service for a minimum period of 5 years on the date of application should not be more than 40 years on the 1st January of the year of advertisement.  

AND

• The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam. The Candidate’s domicile proof one of the following documents need to be upload viz. PRC/Voters ID card/Employment Exchange Registration.
